ABOUT MICHEÁL
Micheál Pierse, the owner of Yacht Leadership has combined his academic and corporate background, with his twelve years of extensive experience working on superyachts to become a specialist crew coach. Throughout his career, Micheál has collaborated with prestigious names such as Camper and Nicholsons and Bluewater Yachting. He has delivered impactful workshops on successful crew management while also providing MCA and RYA training. Recognizing the industry's need for effective management and leadership training, Micheál founded Yacht Leadership.
His educational background includes a Business and Management degree, along with a Master's in Information Systems. After leaving London in 2006, he ventured into the maritime industry, obtaining MCA OOW and MCA master’s tickets. Micheál has served as a Captain on various superyachts, including a 38m Palmer Johnson charter yacht. Since 2019, his expertise has been sought after by leading training establishments like the Bluewater Training Academy. Specializing in management and coaching, Micheál offers a unique perspective informed by his personal experiences as a yacht Captain.
